１人の人間は一つの宇宙です。その人がこの世界に現れ、その人だけの体験をし、見て、考えて、その時、その人が、そこに存在しています。一人の人を撮るということは、その一つの宇宙を撮っていることかもしれない。
A human being is an universe. It appears on this world, has its own experiences, sees and thinks. It exists. Taking a picture of a human being may mean taking a picture of one universe.
(Shoots portraits on the streets of Tokyo City mainly in the Aoyama/Omotesando area, reliant on a simple camera.)

私にインスピレーションを与えてくれる場所を、長い間、何処か海を越えた遠い場所に、探し求めていました。しかし、そこは他の何処でもない私が生まれ育った此処でした。
I had long been searching for a place, far away beyond the seas, that would inspire me. It was nowhere else, but right here, where I was born.
(Landscapes from Akita prefecture. It's northern Japan where's my hometown.)

二度と戻る事のない一瞬の時、客観的に見ている、その画面の中に、生き物（人の部分でもいい、人以外の生き物でもいい）が入るだけで、俄然、主観的になってくる。
In an instant, that will never return, you are looking objectively at a scene , but the moment a living substance ( maybe a part of a person or something alive other than a human being ) enters that scene, it becomes subjective.

人工的に調整した光の中で、ライティングはなるべく自然な光に近付けていき、被写体にもなるべく自然にカメラの前に立つように望んでいく
In adjusting the lights artificially, the lighting should approach natural light and the object to be photographed is required to stand naturally in front of the camera.
